Vitor Graça takes over as secretary-general of ALF

Vitor Graça is the new secretary-general of the Portuguese Association of Leasing, Factoring and Renting (ALF), representative of the specialized financing sector in Portugal.

 

In his new role, Mr. Graça intends to carry out the objectives of the association in the defense and representation of the interests of its members, with public and private entities, both national and international, by cooperating in the definition of public policies and in the training and technical-and-economic development of the activity and of the sector’s professionals.

 

According to Alexandre Ferreira Santos, president of ALF, “Vitor Graça is a natural choice for secretary-general of ALF given his wide professional experience in the association and his vast knowledge of the specialized financing sector in Portugal, which assumes a key role in supporting the Portuguese economy”.

 

ALF's new secretary-general has extensive experience in the field of specialized financing, and in particular in ALF, as a specialist adviser, since 2008 and has increasingly ensured the technical representations and dossiers in the association.

 

Vitor Graça is a master of International Economics and European Studies, by the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG), and holds a bachelors in economics, by the Faculdade de Economia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

 

In other professional and personal aspects, Vitor Graça is since March 2018 President of the Board of the Portuguese League for Human Rights – Civitas, an entity founded in 1921; member of the Executive Board of the European Association for Human Rights, based in Brussels, and member of the Portuguese Economists' Order.
